Petrified Logs and Limbs
      Polished.

These collector pieces are choice specimens of petrfied wood (and related lapidary specimens) from some of the best locations in the Pacific Northwest and around the world. Petrified logs and limbs are beautiful, natural treasures presented as they were found in the earth with one face cut and polished to a mirror finish to reveal the stunning wood grain and other fine details that will make them both scientific as well as gem collector pieces. Logs and limbs provide wonderful representations of these ancient trees, but also demand a higher premium than cross section plates (rounds) because of the amount of raw material required to produce a single specimen. Top grade specimens may have knots, insect borings or even some bark left on the outside. The specimens shown below represent some of our finest pieces.
