Petrified Tree Ferns from Brazil & Oregon

In the spring of 2002, I travelled to Brazil to collect and buy tree ferns from a miner with the only legal claim in the Araguania petrified forst. It was a wonderful trip [a href="">see trip photos by clicking here] and we were able to hand select exceptional logs that I can honestly say puts us in the enviable position of having one of the best collector grade tree fern selections in the world. These collector specimens are all slices taken from the center of perfectly preserved tree fern logs. They are ready to mount in a frame, on an easel, or as a wall piece. Most are Psaronius brasiliensis and Tietea singularis from Brazil unless otherwise noted. Polished to a mirror finish, each piece is cut as a slab/plate specimen ready for display. We have recently added a nice selection of crafted hardwood display stands available in a variety of sizes, hardwoods and finishes. If you don't see what you're looking for here, please send us e-mail as we have an extensive inventory of fine Brazilian and Oregon tempskya tree fern rounds in a variety of sizes and prices. The ones shown here are top grade and/or unusual specimens and represent many of the best we have. We recently imported several dozen very nice petrified logs and fern trunks from Brazil. We'll be working hard for the next few years to prepare these specimens and bring them to market. You'll be able to follow our progress here and see some beautiful new rounds, including a new species not previously seen in the US, showing up regularly.
